Privacy Policy on the Use of Cookies

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are recorded by your browser and allow certain data from web
pages and browser sessions to be stored. Tailormadetours uses some cookies generated and used by
the Tailormadetours website and also third-party cookies that are generated on our site by third parties.
Cookies allow us to store each element of your booking as you enter the site and show you the
most suitable content according to the options you select and based on your browsing. Cookies
support us to make your browsing more efficient.
A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from your hard drive (your hard drive) or transmit
computer viruses or acquire email addresses. Each cookie is unique to the user’s web browser.
Cookies are capable of storing only text content, always anonymous and usually encrypted.
 Tailormadetours will never store any personally identifiable information.
 Tailormadetours uses technical cookies and so-called third-party profiling cookies.

What are technical cookies?
What are the purposes of processing?
Pursuant to and in accordance with the Privacy Code, Tailormadetours informs you that on the tailormadetours.it website technical cookies are operational, which are necessary to navigate within
the same sites as they enable the use of essential functions such as authentication, validation and management of a browsing session.
In particular, the cookies used by Tailormadetours on the website https://www.tailormadetours.it/  are intended to perform computer authentication of the user, session monitoring and storage of specific technical information regarding users accessing the server. Some operations on the site could not in fact be allowed without the use of cookies defined precisely as “technical” because they are technically necessary for the operation of the session. For example, access to restricted areas of the site and the consequent activities carried out by the user, once logged in, would be much more complex to perform and less secure without the presence of technical cookies that allow to identify the user and maintain his or her identification within the web session (without having to enter the login credentials when opening each new page within the same session).
We mainly use “session” technical cookies in that the stored data is used only with reference to that work session and is deleted when the user closes it. These are technical cookies used, for example, when you place a product in the shopping cart during the online booking process on the site, authentication cookies, personalization cookies (e.g., for choosing the navigation language or recalling the ID and full password by typing the first characters).

Social plug-ins are elements such as the Like button, Share button, comments, and other tools that allow you to share your experience on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin with your friends and other people subscribed to the same social network. Social plug-ins on the pages allow the selected social network to collect data about your visit. Third-party cookies are therefore installed with these buttons. With these social plug-ins, however, no browsing information or user data acquired is exchanged.

Pursuant to Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code (Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003) and in accordance with Opinion 04/2012 – WP 194, on the exemption from consent for the use of cookies adopted on June 7, 2012 by the Working Party established pursuant to Article 29 of Directive 95/46/EC), the technical cookies used by Tailormadetours on its sites can also be used in the absence of the consent of the data subject as they are:
– cookies with data filled in by the user (session identifier), lasting one session or persistent cookies limited to a few hours in some cases;
– authentication cookies, used for the purpose of authenticated services, lasting one session;
– user-centric security cookies, used to detect authentication abuse, of limited persistent duration;
– session cookies for load balancing, of one session duration;
– persistent cookies for user interface customization, of one session duration;
Among the technical cookies Tailormadetours also uses so-called “analytics” cookies, which pursue only statistical purposes (and not profiling or marketing) and collect information in aggregate form on the number of users and how they visit the site itself, without the possibility of tracing the identification of the individual user. They are useful to allow us to remember your data at the next access, if made within a short period of time from the first, so as to facilitate your new accreditation (these are technical cookies of the “persistent” type). For the installation of these cookies, in accordance with the provision of the Guarantor of May 8, 2014, the prior consent of users is not required, while the obligation to give the information pursuant to art. 13 of the Code remains firm. It is in any case always possible to proceed to the deactivation of Google analytics cookies and other technical cookies by following the instructions given in this document under browser settings. Find out how to do it.

What are third-party Cookies?
What are the purposes of their processing?
In the course of browsing tailormadetours.it you may also receive on your terminal equipment cookies from sites or web servers other than Tailormadetours directly from their respective websites (so-called “third-party” cookies). This happens because on the Tailormadetours website there may be elements such as, for example, images, maps, specific links to web pages of other domains that reside on servers other than the one on which the requested page is located and are therefore set up and administered directly by the operators of those websites or servers (other than Tailormadetours).
In such cases, Tailormadetours is extraneous to the operation of such cookies, the sending of which is the responsibility of such third-party companies that are also the controllers of the relevant processing. Such cookies are not Tailormadetours’s and do not qualify as “technical”. They pursue purposes of behavior analysis for marketing purposes (so-called profiling) and your consent is required for the use of such cookies.

Please be advised that if you continue browsing without exercising any preference and exit this policy by closing it or continuing to browse the site, you consent to the use of all cookies.
